Tree Removal

Tree removal is the process of safely cutting down and taking away a tree from a property. It involves assessing the tree’s health and location, planning how to bring it down without damaging houses, power lines, or landscaping, cutting it in sections (often using ropes, climbing gear, or cranes), and then hauling away or chipping the wood and branches. Tree Fellars Tree Service is fully insured and can remove the most challenging trees.

Trees provide enormous benefits for the environment, human health, and the economy. Being around trees and green spaces is linked to lower stress, better mood, and improved concentration; even views of trees from windows are associated with better mental health and faster recovery in hospitals. However, sometimes, they have to be removed.

The most urgent reason is safety. If a tree is dead, severely diseased, or structurally unstable (large cracks, major root damage, leaning with exposed roots), it can fall on people, houses, cars, or power lines. Trees that have been badly damaged by storms or lightning often fall into this category. There are also site use and design reasons. A tree might be in the way of a planned addition, driveway, solar panels, or a new garden.
